Paste any amount of text and get a SHA-256 cryptographic hash. Choose how many characters you want.
The full SHA-256 digest is 64 hex characters. "Numbers only" converts that same digest to its decimal (base-10) value, so you get a digits-only hash. The 8/16/32-character options return the first N characters. Shorter hashes have a higher (but for ordinary text volumes, remote) chance of two different inputs colliding. The same input always produces the same hash. Nothing is sent anywhere — hashing happens entirely on your device.
